The Fairey Overdrives suitable either for the LT76 and LT95 Land-Rover gearboxes are an assembly of 3 separate sets, all according original specifications:
1. A complete main unit;
2. A kit of coupling and fittings on the transfer box;
3. A kit of linkages and fittings on the car;
The photos published in this website are generic and only for show purposes and may not be from the overdrive you will get, as each individual unit is assembled only by order and can differ on some little aspects, but surely one exactly with the same configuration, functionality and composed of the best adequate components with the same quality and presentation will be sent.
Complete instructions, parts list and maintenance guide will also be sent to the buyer preferably by email.
All units have one-year full warranty if fitting and maintenance instructions have been carefully respected and strictly followed. This must be proved (so please record every step of it), and our outside and inside seals, signs and marks are present and never violated.
We provide service and rebuilt to all Overdrives, with discount prices on those bought from us. We have all parts available. Serviced units are also warranted.
Every unit will be very well packed inside a special wood box approved for export anywhere in the world as shown on the pictures.
To complete the full set needed to fit and operate the Fairey overdrive as the genuine pack presented by the factory you will need, as explained on the top, the two complementary parts we sell separately named "linkage kit" and "coupling kit". The reason these are sold separately is because some may not be necessary for some costumers when only changing main unit, or the option for these complementary parts may be for non genuine and cheaper replicas.
If any of these parts will be need, they can be bought and sent together with no additional shipping and handling costs.
A final word for those not acquainted with Overdrives use... they are really very strong and reliable parts, but please do not make confusion with it's use: "IN/OUT" does not mean "ON/OFF" and those who think that are making a great mistake! Every time the car is running the Overdrive is running (never stops) and only transfers from "HIGH" to "LOW" range at the end of the Transfer box or vice-versa... So, maintenance, such as checking EP90 oil level should be respected as instructions say! A lack of oil is a broken overdrive... remember is a machine, and have a dipstick to check the oil level :)
95% of overdrives that broke it's just because failure of maintenance!
